The Play: Felix Culpa and the Chutzpah! Festival present the world premiere of Donald and Lenore, a seductive and unsettling play. In a Tahitian lounge, three floors below an airport hotel parking lot, a ruthless diva and a nervous convict create paradise in a bomb shelter
The Party: It's a spectacular event held in a beautiful home featuring music from HARAM with delicious food and a chance to meet the creative artists behind Donald and Lenore.
All proceeds from this benefit will assist in the creation of the spectacular subterranean world of Donald and Lenore.
Music by HARAM: Gordon Grdina's superb ensemble HARAM tackles Arabic traditional themes in unconventional ways. Gordon Grdina is a Vancouver based Oud/Guitarist whose sound is a combination of his interests in mainstream jazz, free-form improvisation and Arabic classical music.

Donald and Lenore is a seductive play about survival. Set in the Tahitian Lounge, three floors below an airport hotel parking lot, a ruthless diva and a nervous convict create paradise in a bomb shelter, passionately performing their existential cabaret until no one is left. And now the play begins.
The world premiere of a new work by internationally renowned playwright Tom Cone, author of Herringbone, True Mummy, Cubistique and the libretto for Vancouver Opera's The Architect.
